THE STORY – Pets Alive is a no-kill animal rescue located in Middletown, NY. Devin’s dog, Timber Dog, is a successful adoption obtained via Pets Alive. Devin offers to tutor Janet, one of their key people. The goal is to improve their website photos of the animals. If they are the best they can be, more people will likely adopt animals, making room for more lives to be saved.

THE LESSON – Devin shows Janet the importance of good composition. It is important to consider the coloring of the subject as compared to the background. The goal of all photographs is to compose the image in such a way that the subject clearly stands out.

THE BENEFIT – Devin teaches a lesson that will benefit all camera users. The the goal of every photo should be to create a clear image without distractions. As Pets Alive continue to improve their photographs, it is hoped that more and more people will visit their website and rescue animals.
